Magnolia Vineyards & Winery

We like to refer to ourselves as a true Mom & Pop, small production, boutique winery. Our goal is to offer wines carefully crafted in traditional European styles. We have interior seating, picnic tables, porch seating and, of course, plenty of open ground for picnickers, either right outside the tasting room or on the hilltop by the Black Walnut tree with views of the Blue Ridge mountains. Visitors are welcome to come out and spend the day enjoying the views and occasional local wildlife sighting of deer, wild turkey or maybe even Red the vineyard fox and “escape the madness.” No stress, no pressure (just magnificent wines)!

Martin Woodard Studio & Gallery

Martin Woodard draws inspiration from the panorama of the Blue Ridge Mountains as well as intimate details found along old back roads. His oil paintings embrace shapes, colors, shadows, and compelling compositions to provide thoughtful interpretations of nature. Woodard grew up in Herndon, Virginia, and has lived in Rappahannock County for over 45 years. He and his wife, Cheri, operate Cheri Woodard Realty in Sperryville.

Our place is located in Rappahannock County, the perfect place for family and friends to make special memories. We have 2 lots by the river you will have use of the one we call Bud’s Hangout, which has tables, grill, lighted fire pit area and volleyball net, basketball goal, cornhole or go to one of the 2 nearby lakes to swim and use our flat bottom boat to fish or get great exercise with the paddle boat great places to walk. Both lakes are within walking distance and you also can drive to them and parking is available.
